I have loved taking pictures of people since I was a child when my dad bought me a second hand SLR camera.  Since then I have always said that I am never happier than when I have a camera in my hand and that has only increased following the birth of my beautiful daughter Stella.  It's been such a joy to see her grow alongside her NCT gang and see how unique each child is from the earliest age.  I am curious about every child and very inspired to try and capture every personality in a creative way.  So I decided to leave behind my career in corporate communications and start Emma Palmer Photography.

 

 For me, family photographs are treasure - not just beautiful memories to frame but heirlooms as well.  Of course, smartphones can capture day-to-day moments, but I believe every so often it is worth investing in professional family pictures. We all deserve a selfie-free, creative reflection of ourselves with our families that generations to come can enjoy.

I live in Thames Ditton with my husband, David and our daughter Stella.  I am currently studying for a diploma with the British Academy of Photography.
